The new 'Convert Free Trial' option in Lifecycle Manager detects when a subscription is a trial and enables one-click conversion to a paid term. Whether you operate on fixed or evergreen models, this automation ensures smoother transitions, reduces revenue leakage, and improves conversion tracking across the funnel.

Example Use Case:

A customer purchases multiple products at different times throughout the year. With system-level co-term settings, Nue allows all subscriptions to align to a single renewal date. Depending on company policy or operational needs, admins can configure any of the following scenarios:

  • Let users choose co-term options: Give customers or reps the flexibility to decide whether and how to co-term subscriptions.

  • Do not co-term: Prevent co-termination entirely, ensuring each subscription maintains its own term.

  • Always co-term with custom date: Set a specific date all subscriptions should align to.

  • Always co-term with furthest end date: Automatically adjust all new subscriptions to align with the subscription that ends latest within the account.

Previously, businesses were restricted to a single term unit across all tiers in a tag—now, you can assign different prices and discounts based on varying time periods at the tier level.

 

This enables pricing structures that support free trials, monthly ramps, and multi-year discounts all in one product.

A RevOps Manager wants to configure a pricing structure that starts with a 14-day free trial, transitions to a monthly rate for the first year, and applies annual discounts after that. From writing off uncollectible invoices to processing payments and refunds, all core billing actions are now easily accessible from the invoice detail page. Coupled with enhanced visibility into related billing accounts, this update accelerates cash flow operations and reduces dependency on external systems.

 

 

Example Use Case: 

A customer accidentally overpays an invoice and requests a correction. Using Nue, the RevOps team unapplies the credit memo, issues a refund, and adjusts the invoice—all within the UI. This avoids back-and-forth with Finance, speeds resolution, and improves the customer experience.

 

 

New invoicing capabilities:

  • Invoice Write-Off: Mark invoices as uncollectible and automatically generate corresponding credit memos.

  • Unapply Credit Memos: Easily remove applied credit memos, individually or in bulk.

Additionally, our improved UI offers real-time visibility into customer billing relationships directly within the customer list page, eliminating unnecessary navigation.

With this release, Nue allows companies to automatically generate renewal quotes and opportunities in advance, without triggering an auto-renewal.

 

Plus, we've streamlined the process of renewing with quantity changes by merging them into a single action, cutting complexity and improving clarity for all stakeholders.

 

 

Example Use Case:

An account is up for renewal in 30 days, but Sales needs time to finalize commercial terms. Nue automatically generates a renewal opportunity and quote without auto-renewing the subscription. Sales can close the opportunity manually when the deal is ready—giving full control over timing while keeping the renewal process on track.

 

 

Generate Renewal Quotes and Opportunities without Auto-Renewal: This new feature lets you automatically generate renewal quotes and renewal opportunities ahead of subscription end dates without triggering an automatic renewal. Renew with Updated Quantity: Our enhanced logic combines subscription renewal and quantity updates into a single streamlined line item, replacing the previous two-step renewal and quantity adjustment process.
