The September 2025 release introduces new ways to speed up quoting, simplify billing, and tighten your integrations.

These changes make it easier for revenue teams to manage mid-cycle changes, recover failed payments, and stay aligned across systems.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Faster quoting and renewals with stackable subscription changes in the Line Editor
  • Better visibility and follow-up with synced draft orders between Nue and Salesforce
  • Smarter pricing rules that adjust automatically based on product type or business logic
  • Instant alerts for failed payments, so your team can follow up right away without checking manually
  • Smoother tax and billing workflows with improved integrations between Avalara, QuickBooks, and NetSuite

Let’s break it down.

Manage Renewals and Mid-Cycle Changes with Stackable Subscription Changes in the Line Editor

The Line Editor now supports a full range of subscription changes, including renewals, pricing adjustments, term updates, reconfigurations, and trial conversions. Sales and CS teams can manage these updates mid-cycle or at renewal without cloning quotes, switching tools, or relying on manual handoffs.

You can now stack multiple change types in a single flow and see real-time validations as you go. Whether you're adjusting quantity, updating a bundle, or converting a trial add-on, each change is tracked, validated, and reversible. The result is faster quoting, fewer errors, and cleaner data across systems.

Why It Matters:

  • Supports complex renewals and mid-cycle changes in a single, streamlined session
  • Reduces dependency on RevOps by validating issues instantly in the quote
  • Prevents backend errors with guardrails that block incompatible changes
  • Keeps subscription data clean and audit-ready across systems

Use Case: A rep working on a renewal for a SaaS bundle needs to update the quantity and adjust the price. Instead of jumping between screens, they stack all three changes in the Line Editor, apply them in one pass, and send the updated quote in minutes with confidence that backend systems will sync cleanly.

Recover Abandoned Carts and Push Draft Orders to Self-Checkout

You can now sync draft orders, including line items, discounts, and billing settings, between Nue and Salesforce. Orders can originate from direct sales or self-service, and updates flow automatically in either direction.

You can now:

  • Automatically capture abandoned self-service carts in Salesforce for sales follow-up
  • Push Salesforce-initiated draft orders to Nue’s billing portal for customer self-checkout
  • Keep both systems aligned with real-time updates to draft order content and status
  • Configure sync behavior (manual or automatic) based on your workflow needs

Use Case: A self-service user begins checkout in the billing portal but doesn’t complete payment. The draft order syncs to Salesforce, where a sales rep sees the cart, follows up with a personalized offer, and closes the deal all from one view.

Granular Pricing Control for Renewals and Change Orders

Admins can now define exactly how pricing behaves during renewals and mid-term changes down to the product, revenue model, or category. With new filter-based controls, teams can apply pricing logic that reflects their actual business rules.

You can now:

  • Reuse Net Sales Price (NSP) for specific products or revenue models
  • Recalculate pricing based on current price tags, discounts, or list prices
  • Apply logic only to targeted products using advanced filters
  • Set fallback behavior when pricing conditions aren’t met

Use Case: A RevOps admin configures pricing logic so usage-based products keep their original rates on renewal, while recurring subscriptions update based on the latest discount tags. This ensures price consistency for metered services and keeps recurring SKUs aligned with the current pricing strategy.

Control Product Visibility with Product Access Rules

The new Product Access Configurator gives admins fine-grained control over which users, Salesforce profiles, or roles can see and sell specific products in Nue’s quoting and ordering tools. With an intuitive UI and dynamic rule enforcement, you can tailor product visibility based on region, team, or go-to-market strategy without writing custom code or relying on object-level permissions in Salesforce.

Why It Matters:

  • Prevents unauthorized product sales and quoting errors by limiting visibility to approved SKUs
  • Enables secure, scalable product access for multi-channel and partner teams
  • Supports enterprise policies and regulatory requirements with flexible rule targeting

Use Case: A company launches a new upsell bundle, but only wants its senior sales team and partner channel to have access during the launch phase. The admin defines an access rule restricting access to this bundle for all other users, profiles, and roles. Only the targeted group can see and sell the new bundle, while others remain restricted until the rule is updated or deactivated.

Real-Time Webhooks for Payment Failures

includes rich context, allowing teams to trigger automated workflows and follow up immediately with no manual monitoring required.

How it works:

  • Trigger instant Dunning workflows when a payment fails
  • Pass detailed context (customer, method, error code, metadata) to your CRM or support platform
  • Integrate with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or any iPaaS solution to automate follow-up
  • Proactively reduce churn and recover failed payments faster

Use Case: A customer’s credit card fails during auto-renewal. A webhook fires immediately, which creates a support ticket, sends a personalized email via the company’s automation system, and tags the account in Salesforce for sales follow-up, all without manual intervention.

Integrations Updates

This release includes several enhancements to Nue’s integrations with Avalara, QuickBooks, and NetSuite, making tax handling, collections, and financial reporting faster, more accurate, and easier to manage across systems.

Supporting Avalara Tax in QuickBooks Online Invoices

Now, Nue syncs Avalara-calculated tax directly to QuickBooks Online invoices, bypassing QBO’s native tax engine and applying the total as a single, mapped line item. This prevents double-taxation, ensures audit-ready accuracy, and removes the need for manual tax adjustments.

Supporting Avalara Tax in NetSuite Invoices

Avalara tax totals are now mapped automatically to the Tax Total field on NetSuite invoices with no custom mapping or workarounds required. This ensures tax data stays accurate across systems and simplifies compliance for high-volume finance teams.

Write Off Invoices to QuickBooks Online

When an invoice is written off in Nue, a matching Credit Memo is created and applied in QBO, keeping both systems in sync. The entire process is tracked automatically, reducing manual effort and improving audit visibility.

QuickBooks Payment Links in Salesforce

Sales reps can now access and share QuickBooks Online payment links directly from Salesforce invoice records. This speeds up collections, improves customer experience, and eliminates the need to switch between systems.

Work Smarter Across the Entire Revenue Lifecycle

This release gives revenue teams more control, faster workflows, and better system alignment. Every feature is built to reduce manual effort, eliminate friction between teams, and support cleaner data across the customer lifecycle.

Whether you're updating subscriptions mid-term, syncing draft orders, or tightening your tax setup, these updates help you move faster and stay more consistent at scale.
