Nue in February 2026: What to Know
The Nue Team
The February 2026 release adds new AI-powered tools to help teams manage pricing and subscription changes with less manual work and fewer handoffs.
These updates make it easier for sales, RevOps, and finance teams to create and enforce pricing rules without writing code, guide customers through subscription changes, and run self-service motions with greater accuracy and control.
Here’s what’s new:
- AI-powered Price Builder Chatbot for pricing plugins in the Line Editor
- AI-guided upgrade, downgrade, and swap subscription amendments
- Enhanced self-serve upgrade, downgrade, and swap experiences
- Plus a host of additional improvements across quoting, billing, and integrations
Let’s break it down.
The new Price Builder Chatbot is an AI-powered assistant embedded directly in the Quote Line Editor. It allows authorized users to create, deploy, manage, and remove custom pricing plugins using natural language, without writing code.
Instead of submitting tickets to engineering or maintaining custom validation logic, RevOps and pricing teams can now describe the rules they need in plain language. The chatbot generates the plugin, previews the behavior in the Line Editor, and deploys it instantly.
Pricing logic becomes something you design and iterate on in real time, inside the quoting workflow itself.
You can now:
- Create custom Line Editor plugins using natural language
- Enforce non-discountable product rules
- Define inclusion and exclusion logic between products and bundles
- Trigger pricing logic from header-level field changes such as discount, term, or start date
- Surface real-time error, warning, and informational messages directly in the Line Editor
- Deploy, undeploy, and manage plugins without leaving the quote
All plugin logic runs within Nue’s guardrails, with role-based permissions controlling who can create and deploy rules.

The Price Builder Chatbot is embedded in the Quote Line Editor
Use Case: A RevOps manager wants to apply a new volume discount to API usage add-ons. Instead of requesting engineering support, they open a quote, launch the Price Builder Chatbot, and describe the desired logic in natural language: “Apply a 10% discount for orders over 100 units of API usage add-ons.”
The chatbot generates the plugin, previews the behavior, and deploys it instantly. The manager tests the logic directly in the Line Editor, confirms the discount applies correctly, and publishes the rule.
The result is faster iteration on pricing strategy, fewer handoffs to engineering, and confidence that volume discounts are enforced consistently across quotes.
This release introduces AI-powered workflows that help sales teams create quotes and orders for upgrading, downgrading, or swapping existing subscriptions directly within Nue.
Using Nue AI through the Customer Chatbot or the Lifecycle Manager UI, reps are guided step by step through product selection, unit of measure choices, effective dates, and validation. Nue handles proration, sequencing, and business rule enforcement behind the scenes, then generates an accurate quote or order reflecting the change.
Instead of manually stitching together amendments, teams can move from request to ready-to-send quote in a single guided flow.
You can now:
- Generate change quotes or orders from existing subscriptions
- Automatically discover valid upgrade, downgrade, and swap paths
- Choose units of measure and effective dates with real-time validation
- Produce quotes and orders with correct proration and pricing
- Share smart links for customer approval
Use Case: A sales rep needs to upgrade a customer from Pro to Enterprise mid-term. They select “Upgrade subscription” in the Customer Chatbot, choose Enterprise, and pick an effective date. Nue validates the change, calculates proration, and generates a quote the rep can send for approval.
Nue now supports self-serve upgrade, downgrade, and swap flows that honor the same pricing rules and product relationships used in sales-led deals.
Self-serve changes respect same-price swap settings, upgrade discount tags, and unit-of-measure constraints, ensuring customers always see correct pricing when modifying their subscriptions.
With this update, teams can:
- Offer self-serve upgrades, downgrades, and swaps based on product relationships
- Honor same-price swap rules and upgrade discounts
- Enforce unit-of-measure and eligibility constraints automatically
Use Case: A customer wants to replace an existing integration with a newer version. The RevOps team has configured the relationship as a same-price swap. When the customer opens the billing portal, they see the swap option, select the new integration, and confirm the change. Nue updates the subscription automatically and keeps the total price unchanged for the remainder of the term.
In addition to the highlights above, the February release also includes:
Multi-Currency Support in Nue AI Quoting and Orders
Nue AI now supports multi-currency across change quotes and orders. Teams can create and manage subscription changes in any enabled currency, with correct symbols and codes displayed across quote, order, and customer summaries, and global customers see accurate pricing from quote to order.
Header-Level Triggers for Line Editor Plugins
Line Editor plugins can now run when header fields like start date, term, or quote-level discount change, which means teams can enforce quote-wide rules such as subscription start date requirements and discount policies without custom development.
Configurable “Buy Now from Quote” Checkout
Teams can choose whether customers submit payment details only or if they must submit payment details and activate the order in the same checkout flow. Checkout behavior can now align with internal approval and risk processes.
Billing and Integration Fixes
Dunning emails now include support for the Bill To Contact email field. Invoice and credit memo syncing into Dynamics 365 has also been enhanced.
The February 2026 release gives teams more control over how pricing rules are defined, enforced, and executed, along with more flexibility in how subscriptions change over time.
From designing pricing logic with the Price Builder Chatbot, to guiding sales reps through subscription changes, to supporting self-serve upgrades and swaps, these updates reduce manual work and keep pricing behavior consistent across every channel.
