Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager, specializing in API, UI Components, and Developer Experience, to join our talented product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, API development, and enhancing developer experience. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our APIs and developer tools are intuitive, robust, and deliver exceptional value to our user.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for our API and developer experience offerings.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality APIs and developer tools.
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements based on feedback from developers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, SDKs, and sample code to enhance the developer experience.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on API and developer experience.
  • Strong understanding of API design, development, and best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, and the needs of a developer audience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in billing, payments, and eCommerce systems is highly desired.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, databases, AWS, and preferably Salesforce platform, with a proven track record in building REST APIs and enhancing developer experience.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust REST APIs to support our platform.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers and product managers to create sample self-service sites, SDKs, and other tools that enhance the developer experience.

  • Streamline and operationalize the handoff process of discovery and solutioning documentation to other teams

Pricing Expertise and Strategy Development:

End-to-End Solutioning:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience (8 years) in a similar role, preferably within the software industry and with a focus on Quote to Cash solutions (Salesforce, Netsuite/ERP and/or Billing experience)
  • Strong understanding of Quote to Cash processes and technologies, including CRM and ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
